I am writing this review for a few different reasons. First, as someone who found Early Options through google and citysearch reviews, I want to address an important consideration. If you're like me, you are probably skeptical of the many, many positive reviews. I was. Regardless, I felt it was my best option for a private and uncomplicated abortion. I am now on the other side of the process and can honestly say that the website information and reviews by and large are accurate and true.
My husband and I were never expecting to have to make this decision. Because this was the most difficult thing I've ever done, I'm having a hard time describing the experience positively. However, the manual aspiration procedure, as described, was very quick and only slightly uncomfortable. The nurse was extremely calm and reassuring. The doctor answered my (few) questions as I was already pretty prepared. After the procedure was done (truly less than 5 minutes), my husband and I were a bit emotional. We were comforted and offered tea, snacks and as much time as we needed. While we have resolved to never do this again, I am thankful that I was able to afford THIS type of care in THIS setting as opposed to the many other options out there.

It’s hard to express how truly amazing Early Options is. Like many of you reading this, I was searching up and down to find where I could get the surgical procedure done (I have previously done the medical option and it was very painful). I called so many places but Early Options was the only place that I felt truly comfortable going forward with. I made my appointment on the phone. The staff here is incredible. On the phone they were very informative and made sure to explain the process to me in detail. The day of my appointment, I was nervous wreck but my nerves calmed down after I meet Vanessa and Dr. Joan Fleischman. Vanessa was the sweetest and made sure to check in on me throughout the procedure. Dr. Joan Fleischman has THE MOST empathetic heart! I could cry just thinking about how kind she is and how she truly cares about each and every one of her patients! The procedure itself maybe lasted 5 minutes max. I felt some cramping towards the end and that was it. The cramping was gone within a couple minutes. After the short procedure they bring you some snacks and let you rest for however long you like. I was up and ready to go shortly after the procedure and I carried on with the rest of my day. I had no complications and my body returned to normal within a week! I highly recommended going the SofTouch way, it was easy and quick. Thank you Dr. Fleishcman 💕 I truly appreciate everything that you do!
There are not enough wonderful things I can say about the staff at Early Options. Dr. Fleischman and Vanessa were amazing and made us feel so comfortable and secure. All of our question and concerns were addressed with compassion and empathy. The procedure itself was quick, only about 5 minutes. There was some discomfort and mild cramping but you can opt for a local anesthetic which really helped minimize any discomfort. The staff is there to support you before, during and after the procedure. We could not have asked for better care during such a difficult time and decision. They were nothing but professional, caring, and compassionate. You cannot put a price on excellent patient care, which is what the staff at Early Options provides. We highly recommend this office to any women facing this difficult decision.
I had such a smooth and excellent experience. Dr Fleischman and Vanessa were both very informative. They addressed my concerns, guided me through the process. The soft touch method was indeed soft touch I barely felt a thing except some mild cramps for a minute or 2. The process itself was quick, lasted no longer than the 5mins. I went by myself but almost felt like I had people I knew for a long time in the room. Vanessa offered me a heating pillow.. They definitely clear all the myths associated with women’s reproductive health. I was able to take the train ride back home and walk my dog after with no issues. I would highly recommend!
