An amazing team from start to finish. I traveled out of state for this and they catered to that. What Early Options locations do you have?

Currently Early Options is in Manhattan, conveniently located near Grand Central Station and Hudson Vallay at Hopewell Junction.

If you are up to 12 weeks pregnant you can visit us in Manhattan. If you are up to 10 weeks pregnant you can visit us in Hudson Valley or Manhattan.

Both of our practices are 100% private.

Am I eligible for an abortion at Early Options Hudson Valley?

If you are under 10 weeks pregnant, calculated from the first day of your last period, you are eligible for our services. If you’re at this early stage of pregnancy, we offer two safe and natural methods in a private doctor’s office: the Softouch® procedure and the Abortion Pill.

What is the SofTouch Procedure?

SofTouch is a 3-5 minute procedure used to end an early pregnancy or manage an early miscarriage. The technical term for the SofTouch procedure is Manual Vacuum Aspiration. This noninvasive method involves a small, hand-held device that quietly brings a natural release of your menstrual flow. Both the Abortion Pill and Manual Vacuum Aspiration are recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) as the safest early abortion options.

Can I take the Abortion Pill?

If you are under 10 weeks of pregnancy, you can take the Abortion Pill with us. The uterus is preparing for pregnancy by developing a thickened lining inside, known as the “decidua”. The decidua is similar to the lining that comes out with your period, but a little thicker. This is why the Abortion Pill is said to “bring down your period.”

The Abortion Pill is actually two sets of pills. The first pill, mifepristone, blocks the pregnancy hormones from reaching the uterus, so the tissue lining stops growing and starts to detach from the uterus. The second set of pills, misoprostol, causes the uterus to contract and the cervix to relax and open. This induces your period, or causes an early miscarriage.
